Running Summary May 2021

I ran well in early May before injuring my lower back and missing most of the rest of the month.


I continued running, with some good running in Lake Oswego, where I spent a week so I could visit my mother. On Sunday May 9 I ran all the way around Oswego Lake, a challenging and hilly run.

Unfortunately, I hurt my lower back on May 13, and I was unable to run until May 30, resulting in seventeen days with no running. I bought new On running shoes and began using them on May 30. On May 31 after my run, I felt like my hamstrings were very tight.

These were my running miles since I started running on April 10:
